"This place is absolutely horrible. I took my friend here because they were in bad shape and needed to be seen right away. Not only did they sit in the waiting room for hours after the staff took their tests, they never got them after that. Never told them their test results either. Their partner came and told the staff they were both leaving and they just let them go. Didn't have them fill out any paperwork or anything. I'm about ready to call the Head of hospital because this is the most unprofessional hospital I have ever been to and the fact this one is still standing baffles me."
"Great caring drs and nurses!!! Every single one was very nice and professional. I however did not like the fact I was having anxiety and had to leave, checked myself out and the nurse told me if I do, i cant ever come back... We called 2 days later, regretted leaving. Called and they told us she lied to us and that was wrong. We could come back. So i did, and was treated well. Thank you genesis drs and nurses."
"What is the point of being an “Emergency Room” if you have to wait over two hours, in some cases 6-8 hours at the very least to be seen or get something done? Obviously the hospital doesn’t care as long as they are getting paid. I’ve been to the ER three times this week with my pregnant wife and had to wait atrociously long time to be seen. We came in for serious bleeding and still had to wait. this time we arrived with serious stomach pain and are still waiting and have been here almost two hours. I understand the system, but they’re others who have been waiting here for several hours. And I understand that they are busy. But if it’s a staff thing hire more staff, or space fix it. My point is fix the problem because “your system” is not working. I almost will be stopping coming here and go to trinity where they will attend to the patients more effectively."
"So the the nurses that did my sister vitals were completely rude. My sister fell and got hurt and cut her head open. Well she was in the chair about to pass out they came when I called and said there is nothing we can do for her and we are trying to get her a room. The blond was horrible then the dark hair heavier set lady came and said we should feel lucky because other patients have been waiting 6 and a half hours. She heard me ask my sister if she’s cold and she piped up and said this isn’t her room really snotty. I’m sorry but I didn’t ask her for anything and she very rudely butted in just to be rude. They both were very rude to our daughters who came because they were worried. They need a difference job because they are not good with the public. That being said the nurse in the room and the nurse practitioner and ct tech were amazing. They did a wonderful job. They cared for my sister and was very respectful and nice. They are very packed but that wasn’t our fault for those two ladies and the blond wheeled my sister so fast in the hall in the bed trying to make it where I couldn’t keep up. If they view cameras they would see it. Good job to nurse practitioner and regular nurse and the gentleman with CT"
"My mother ended up with sepsis due to complications with a kidney stone and a stint being placed. I originally took her to a different hospital, but they didn't want to touch her as it was a genesis doctor who placed the stint, and all of this originated from that. She was forced to transfer to this place. She was here for nearly a week, and in that time, I felt I couldn't leave the room because every time I did something else ridiculous, would come up. The staff doesn't care for the patients, and you'll be lucky to get any response to a call light. The monitors would go off indicating that something was wrong and they would be ignored. My mother is septic and needs treatment. They were more focused on getting her to sit in a chair than getting rid of the infection. Once I was out for about 45 minutes, and they sat her in a chair by herself and left the room. She's a fall risk, confused, and has a history of passing out. They released her too early, and now we're sitting in a room as another monitor is being ignored when her blood pressure and pulse are very low. I was told that her nurse would be informed. And also that they see it and are silencing the alarm when it comes on. Why have the alarm if it's just going to be ignored? That was over an hour ago. She was brought in by ambulance after having a seizure in the urologist office. She has no history of seizures. If anything happens to her while being ignored, attorneys will be involved. Don't take your loved ones here. The only reason we're here is because no other hospital wants to touch the mess this place has made. I think a vets office would be better."
