"I was admitted to Amita Resurrection, Dr. Harnisch stepped into the hallway of my room (I was admitted), introduced himself. (No examination, that was it). 2 days later I received a phone call from Dr. Citronberg to release me. The Drs. charged me $1000.00! To step in the room hallway, call me on phone and charge $1000.00! Ha! What a great SCAM. No shame!"
"Clean, punctual and knowledgeable. Everything was thoroughly explained and there was no rush to get me in and out. I was concerned after reading some of the reviews, but everything went perfectly for me. Followup visits and consults were set to fit my schedule."
"Unprofessional the doctor I see is only available on Thursday’s. Finally got in to see them 5 min talk about nothing. Was offered another drug to try if I wanted to.Then was asked do I need to come here? I should try other doctors then was given suggestions for doctors even further from here."
"If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Where do I even begin? Let's start by saying the office staff/receptionists are terrible people. Dealing with them is a whole other issue. There is no sense of professionalism just attitude and verbal abuse. I called in regards to my father who is very sick. I tried to explain to the receptionist that there had been a mistake and had asked her why they are sending us continuous bills for a doctor we had NEVER seen before, with immense attitude she kept giving me the same run around "our doctor was assigned by your hospital". My father was only treated by one doctor for Cancer. I had asked her why he being charged and for what? She said "oh this was for pneumonia", I had proceeded to tell her my father NEVER had pneumonia and was at the hospital to receive his chemotherapy treatments, then she had the nerve to tell me "WHY DON"T YOU BE QUIET AND WHY DON"T YOU STOP GOING ON AND ON ABOUT SOMETHING YOU DON"T KNOW ABOUT". I did not want her speaking to me that way so I asked for a manager and of course there is no one in charge, no office manager or anyone. Overall, this is an abusive office staff, not professional nor courteous towards people who are going through so much because their loved ones are sick. STAY AWAY FROM this office and it's 'doctors'."
"My husband was 'assigned' one of the doctors from this outfit ~ the first attempt I had to make a follow up visit with said 'assigned' doctor I discovered that just dealing with the receptionist is such an ordeal that I wanted to run the other way. Trying to make an appointment for a time condusive to my work schedule was impossible as said doctor works one day a week and starts at 1:00 in the afternoon on that one day. I requested a different doctor and was yelled at and told ' NO, WE DON'T SWITCH DOCTOR'S'. I asked to speak to someone who could help me and was sent to a nurse? No office manager, no one in charge ~ a nurse. Was given the same run around. Since said doctor was assigned by the hospital (they only have this practice working out of Lutheran General so you have no choice) and the office would not let me switch doctors we have been forced to use this practice and continue treatment with an abusive office staff that have said to me, amongst other things; 'what's more important, your job or your husbands health' and 'you shouldn't make doctor come in when it's easy for you ~ what she do the rest of time just sit around?'. Then said doctor forgot to order my husband's antibiotic for the hospital the next day and the follow up medication for when he came home and had home health care so he had to stay in the hospital 3 additional days until it could be straightened out with the insurance company. AND I'M SUPPOSED TO TRUST THEM WITH MY HUSBAND'S LIFE????????????? Find somewhere else to go ~ we found a couple of wonderful doctors out of Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, the staff was professional and courteous and the overall experience was as it should be!"
