"Hit or miss. First time I changed from a dermatologist to this podiatry and I got my wart removed. Second time I ended quitting the practice mid treatment because I lost trust in the Dr. ##Here is my story## 2022 I changed from a dermatologist to this podiatry and Dr Russo managed to have my wart removed. One year later I had another wart and I had it frozen about a dozen sessions. Dr mentioned a 150$/session laser treatment that is not covered by insurance and that no other podiatry has offered me. One day He ran out of freezing spray and tried to cold burn my wart anyway. He pretended the wart was treated. I asked for a 2nd appointment to get it frozen ASAP when they received the new spray can and they said they would call me. They never called me and instead sent me the bill anyway. I called to dispute the charge and they agreed to wave the charge on the condition of follow-up appointment. I said "NO thanks, I lost confidence". They replied "No problem". Fast forward... They sent me the botched visit bill again! So I ended up paying the unfair bill and share my experience with Dr Russo."
"Dr. Russo is the real deal! I had a nagging foot injury for several months that would not ease up. I got to the point of limping out of bed every morning needed to get a cortisone injection to help it along. Needless to say I was terrified at the prospect of having a shot in my foot but the experience was not as bad as I had build in my mind. Dr. Russo has a very gentle hand and a great bedside manner. A few days after my pain started to subside and I’m on my way to normal again. I highly recommend Dr. Russo and his very friendly, compassionate and competent staff!"
"I would not recommend InStep Podiatry. I found the staff to be generally rude. I've dealt with feet issues for over 20 years, and when I met with Dr. Russo, I had high hopes. Instead, I felt like I was fighting too hard to advocate for myself to get the right treatment to help me with my foot pain. I ordered a pair of orthotics, that were not right when I received them. I made a point to tell the staff that the arch was too low and they felt awkward when I received them. I was told I was wrong. Two weeks later, I went in to have my orthotics corrected and the nurse compared them to an old set and basically said "there's really no difference." She was wrong. Dr. Russo agreed with me that they were, in fact, too narrow. However, he absolutely would not listen to me that the arch was too low, that my foot was going numb from wearing them, and they made my feet hurt worse. In his opinion, outside of being too narrow, they were completely acceptable. This is on top of fighting about insurance coverage, and them telling me I was wrong (again, I wasn't). Then I needed a copy of a receipt, and they said "we don't keep them, that's why we give you a copy when you leave." My question is, if everything is electronic, how can you not give me a duplicate? They ended up sending other documentation, but the whole process was difficult."
