Reviews
"Dr. Alex is my most trusted and favorite doctor in the world. I have read the previous reviews of lower stars and I am shocked as this Doctor absolutely provides 5 star treatment (I am his patient of 7+ Years now). If you are willing to be truthful, honest about your medical predicament, you will find yourself in the utmost of top care with Dr. Alex. Dr. Alex took the time to really care and listen to my story and thereafter crafted a plan that worked for me and has been ever since my 1st appointment with him. Dr. Alex, goes out of his way to ensure his patients are cared for and not left in the dark during these unprecedented times, which absolutely should not go unnoticed. It is hard to find someone who cares as much as Dr. Alex and thus I thank him for his many years of service and rate him a perfect 5 star rating with regards to Psychiatry and the care he has delivered. Thank you and take care!""
"Dr. Alex diagnosed me correctly on m first visit with him and right away he began a treatment plan that helped me improve dramatically. He is a kind and sympathetic man and I highly recommend him."
"This doctor, not only a nice, sympathetic good man, was a tremendous help. He knew immediately what to say about me and my diagnosis. Spot on! Extremely glad I chose him and Im very thankful for his input. Thank you doctor!!"
"IF I could leave 0 Stars, I would. This guy is a bottom feeder of a psychatrist. All he cares about is money. I was going to him from a referral from a family member. He seemed okay. Not super friendly. Not super interested in my personal life as my past psychatrists have been. But, he did help me with my medications and for that I'm grateful. Until, I had to reschedule twice due to work and personal issues going on. This caused my Antidepressant to be low. I called the receptionist at ONE of the locations he is at, this one, she took a message for him to fill the prescription and would call me back. I followed up with his other practice when I didn't hear from him. Well, a week later, when I was officially out of my medication (an antidepressant I took in the past and did not want to go back onto due to extreme withdrawal reactions in which he told me it'll be fine, I'll put you on a much lower dose), I received a call from the receptionist stating he would not refill any prescription until two weeks later when my next appointment was. I was floored. I let the receptionist know how dire this is. She said it was out of her hands since he hasn't seen me since August. My last 2 psychiatrists, no longer on my plan, would call in an antidepressant as long as I had seen them within 6 or 12 months. So I demanded his cell phone. The receptionist became rude. It just seemed so off. I called him multiple times. No response despite his "call me anytime you need anything" comments. Luckily, I'm not dying at the toilet right now due to my primary physician. I'd stay away from Dr. KONDIC and this practice. Plus, he has been disciplined by the psychiatric health board as recently as 2018. I plan to make a complaint, as well. I believe he just writes scripts and wants you gone until he requires more money for his practices? Something is weird here. Stay away."
"I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. It's taken me a couple of years to write this review on my husband's behalf. My husband had recently gone through withdrawal after suddenly stopping taking Xanax. It was a very very very difficult time for him to get through. We went to visit this location for him to speak to a therapist to help him manage and cope getting past what had happened. The therapist was great. He also met with this doctor. He had never taken pills his entire life other than an occasional xanax. After going through withdrawal the hospital had put him on a variety of drugs to help him cope through it. When my husband explained to him that his goal was to ultimately get off all of the medication, the Doctor responded with, " Why would you want to do that? Think of the pills as your friends" He then was about to prescribe my husband Valium which is another benzodiazepine the same class of drugs as Xanax which he had just gotten off of and caused all of his issues to begin with. He also told him he could drink alcohol while taking all of these medications which is completely false. Thankfully I had went to the appointment with my husband that day so that more harm could not have been done to him. I find this doctor to not only be useless and repulsive but very dangerous that he can hand out medications like this to hurting, confused and desperate patients."
