"I saw him once, and I'll be continuing to see him. He was a bit rude as other reviewers have said. Interrupted me a couple of times. However, he knows his stuff. First endocrinologist to tell me things I didn't already know in 10 years. Do you see your doctor because you want a best friend? Or do you see your doctor to help treat your health conditions? The choice is clear."
"My husband was discharged from the hospital after buckets of insulin were prescribed by this doctor. There was one little problem, though...he had no needles with which to inject the huge doses three times a day. Doctor didn't prescribe any nor were any given to him by the hospital. I was able to throw myself on the mercy of the pharmacist (on my second trip back once we realized we had no needles) and she gave me some samples. Since my husband hadn't been trained with the equipment Dr. Lastowiecki had prescribed, he tried to inject himself, bent the tip of the needle and started bleeding. Insulin sprayed everywhere. What a joke. So quick to write an expensive prescription that was filled pronto and mostly paid for by our insurance, but absolutely not a care for whether or not the patient had the means and knowledge to use it properly at home. Complete negligence. Oh - and he doesn't seem to keep his posted office hours. He (or his staff) was supposed to be in at 10 a.m. today and it's well after 10 now and his answering service keeps telling me to call back in twenty minutes. If my husband gets sick from this utterly ridiculous oversight, attorneys will be involved right away. I would stay away from this guy. We didn't have much of a say in who was called in to consult on my husband's health during his protracted hospital stay, but if this guy walks into your room peddling huge amounts of insulin, I'd ask for someone else or to see your primary or whomever normally helps manage diabetes for you. They didn't give us any training or supplies - just wrote a script for a $2K medication and sent us home."
"WARNING! Very UNPROFESSIONAL doctor. The doctor is arrogant and makes very smart-arse comments. He prefers patients with "easier" health problems so he treats only those patients with a smile on his face. Not surprised that only those patients give him 5 star reviews and don't see the other side of him. He did not care about my concerns and made me feel like this is "all in my head". You will come out of there feeling dismissed, hopeless, and ashamed for having a health problem. I regret coming to him. Not worth your time and money. The front desk lady is RUDE. She thinks she runs the show and always finds a way to belittle you. The doctor has to realize that the patient experience begins with the person who answers the phones and sits at the front desk. NEVER AGAIN. I would give him zero stars, but Google makes you give a star on the review."
"I had an appointment scheduled at 4p but when I called to go inside, the Dr was on a lunch break so I had to sit and wait 30 minutes (why schedule me at 4p then?). Then when I saw the Dr, he insulted my regular Dr and the tests she recommended prior to suggesting I see a specialist, and then said that all my symptoms were likely because I was "anxious" and a mother. Charged my insurance $250 as a "consultation fee" that could've been done over the phone with the lack of information I was given. "Come back in 3 years if you're still having issues"...I have already been having issues for 3 years. Why do I need to wait another 3?? To top it off I can't even pay the bill online and have to pay it over the phone. A waste of money and time."
"I. will just paste my review from their previous location here: 2 years ago First of all: I paid twice as much as I was told, I will. I waited 2 months for my appointment. Now I find out, they will soon move, to a place inconvenient for me. The doctor loves using his pharmaceuticals. And will discourage any diets or any non-drug ways of working the sickness out. He will not try to be your friend. Meaning no offense, he will tell you truth about you. I respect that. But I would like him to treat me less like like a client (he actually called me that), more like a patient. The assistant, Bozena, did real bad job getting my blood. She moved that needle left and right several times. At one point she stuck almost all of it up my arm. Awful. I was supposed to get my blood results on Monday. It's Wednesday 7:30 in the evening and noone contacted me yet. I am ready to contact BBB and demand my money back. Like Share"
