"Went there for official work for scholarship.. nice experience... great lab facilities..."
"This University has magnificent views to take photos in; By doing so you take a piece of history with you; It is a very safe place, there are security cameras and an active police force, it has access from different places, but the most attractive is the front or entrance itself where its imposing staircase makes you feel that you are leaving a world behind to enter a new one; What you see is magnificent and what many do not know is that they have replicas in their constructions of many well-known places in the world, for example, when you enter the center, after climbing the stairs, on the left side, there is a replica of The Castillo de la Punta, The castle of San Salvador de La Punta (1589 – 1630) is one of the three main fortifications of Havana along with La Fuerza and El Morro, thus all three are found in the city's coat of arms. Its construction constituted a great controversy and throughout the costly construction process it was on the verge of being interrupted on several occasions. In 1601 one of the four bastions was demolished. It also has a defensive function at the entrance to the bay, the purpose of which was to help Morro in this task. The size of the observation towers indicates that their viewing angle is fundamentally oriented towards the path from La Punta to La Chorrera. It constitutes a simple polygonal construction without ornaments, due to being built in stone. In La Punta, the Venezuelan hero Narciso López was executed for high treason, by garrote, on the morning of September 1, 1851, possibly becoming the most controversial figure in the history of Cuba."
