"I called and spoke to Mick and when I asked if they carried 6ft pool noodles his reply was, "Are you calling me because our Algonquin store is closed?" I thought, we are in a pandemic and he should be happy for any business he can get. I was looking to purchase at least 90 noodles for a school to keep 6 feet apart. They lost on that order, I'm calling someone else. Mick didn't seem interested in my business. This is why stores are closing, poor customer service."

"To anyone getting ready to close up your pool for winter, avoid Leslie's at all costs. Last year we had to purchase a winter pool cover from Leslies.com because the Palatine store did not have the cover that we needed. We purchased the winter cover, and only got one winter season out of that cover. When we took the winter cover off of the pool in May, the winter pool cover was deteriorating. Yes signs of deterioration all over the cover, little holes everywhere. We went to the Palatine store in May with our faulty cover and were rudely told that we had to go to Leslie's website and visit contact us for help. The staff at the store made no to attempt to assist us or even look at our cover. The cover was supposed to have a 15 year warranty/1 year full. Lots of luck with that one. We started communicating with Leslie's online in May of this year and we still have not resolved this issue and it is almost October. Yes, we understand the delays do to COVID, but their customer service both online and instore leaves a lot to be desired. Not to mention that many times that we took our pool water sample in to be tested, we were given inaccurate reports. We have been pool owners for over 30 years and have quite a lot of experience with not only pool water tests but winter covers too. I would give Leslie's Zero to negative stars if I was able. Since we have taken our business elsewhere."

"I purchased a fine mesh skimmer and within 30 days it broke away from the frame. It has been used in a small inflatable spa 4 times. I contacted customer service, sent pictures and they told me I was outside the 14 day window of return. Are you kidding me? Your product is broken. Horrible quality. Will not use them again. Will make sure everyone I know avoids them as well."

"I have to admit, Leslie's has a great selection. The staff is attentive and, even though I only go a few times each summer, they always seem to remember me. Their selection of supplies is always complete, and their prices are reasonable (relatively). I'm not much of a do-it-yourselfer when it comes to pools, but they are always willing to take the time to explain how to fix things when needed."
