"Beware! Abbvie has a reputation of recruiting sketchy, unsavory participants. There has been theft (catalytic converters), threats, intimidation and assault. Abbvie hasn't screened their volunteers very well. Abbvie has also leaked confidential paricipant information. Enroll at your own risk!"
"Here is a unbiased truthful fact. I went ti a study. Showed up on time for screening. Checked in on time for study. Followed all rules and got zero violations. Expereinced some nausea which made me not qualify. I called back a month later to screen for another study. I was told I'm permanently banned because of " multiple no shows and cancelations.' Now read first part. Dont give this place buissness"
"The staff are very friendly. They allow u to do vitals ahead of time. The food could use some work Some days are better than others and lay off the grapes and cold cuts geesh. But over all I enjoyed my stay here."
"If I could give this negative stars I would…For anybody that wants to do a clinical trials for Abbvie, BE AWARE of what they DONT TELL YOU! , 1. They pay for travel or screening but that won’t be given until your first check is available and it will be mailed. 2. They will need a social security card. Picture of it or physical card. It’s used for identification verification & background check. The lady said they go back 7years and it’s for drug use & violent. The lady seemed very unsure and I had to force the information out of her before I drove 12 hours just to not get in. Just make sure you guys ask the questions and get definitive answers before you waste your time. Hope this helps for anybody that’s a felon"
"I’ve done a few studies at AbbVie. I don’t have many other research facilities to compare it to, but it's probably safe to say it's one of the best ones in the country based on what I’ve heard from numerous other people. Clean facility, professional workers, good studies. They communicate well so there are never any surprises from screening to study. Food isn’t bad, and I appreciate that they give you seasoning and sauces if you want. Rooms and rec areas are nice. It’s comfortable all around. And I’ve come to really like all the staff — they’re kind and lively. Sometimes the screening and outpatient visits can move a little slow. But only because they’re attentive to each person (and generally short staffed I think I’ve heard them say lol). If you’re looking for some money — be a guinea pig for science. Pays well, and it helps the development of medicine. In 4 or 5 trials, I’ve never experienced side effects myself. I can only think positive things about my times at AbbVie."
