"I have been a patient here for two and a half weeks now. This place and its staff are nothing short of incredible. Even on the worst days they always make you believe in yourself and that everything will be okay. "I went to Encompass Health for acute inpatient rehab after having a triple bypass. The surgery itself went as planned. I spent 20 days in icu due to pulmonary aspiration and bowel blockages. I was in the hospital a total of 29 days before going to Encompass Health. I was in really bad shape to say the very least. I couldn’t even sit on the side of the bed with out getting dizzy. They were very patient with me. I had therapy 3 times a day. By the time I left I could walk over 150 feet. I had to learn how to walk all over again. I was so lucky to have two outstanding therapist. Barbara and Kira were very respectful and just pushed a bit more day by day. They we’re both wonderful. I don’t think I could have done it without them. In addition, every single nurse and nurses helper were respectful and kind. They always had a smile on their face. When I left, the staff, especially Sam, had made sure I had all equipment needed at my house (wheelchair, walker, oxygen, etc) I’m still on oxygen for the time being. Hopefully, the wheelchair and oxygen will both be temporary. Encompass gave me the great start that I needed. The rest is up to me at this point."

"Encompass was FABULOUS! Excellent care. Helpful staff. 1st class rehabilitation. Great food. It's hard to please my mom, and she felt pampered there, even though the OT/PT/Speech was intensive. They helped my mom get her strength back after a couple of falls and chronic weakness. I can't say enough about the level of care they provide compared to other rehab facilities my mom had been at."
