"I always deeply value when I am able to read true and honest reviews in regard to a business or product. The good reviews were what made me choose to utilize the services of American Heritage. Unfortunately my clients and I did not share the same experience as the majority of the reviews I read. I truly felt obligated to leave a review of our experience because I am hopeful that it demands change or prevents another agent or client from experiencing the same. I have never experienced the lying and down right disrespect from a title company, like I did with our closing agent. We were lied to multiple times regarding a situation that the title company was blaming on the financing company, only to have them eventually reveal that THE TITLE company was actually making the specific unnecessary requirement-not the financing company like they tried to lie about. The closing agent repeatedly chose to step outside her scope of relevance in an attempt to advise my clients. While I’m still hoping this was coming from a good place it was highly unprofessional and out of place. The closing agent went so far as to attempt to include the CEO of the finance company and disrespect the lending agents by suggesting their establishment didn’t have good reviews, further suggesting they didn’t know how to do their jobs. After listening to more than enough disrespect, and after countless attempts to be understanding and hopeful to rectify the situation and “misunderstanding” we chose to change title companies. The closing agent then refused to release the earnest money. The closing agent demanded a specific legal document that two brokers and an agent expressed to her did not exist in the format she was demanding, but that we were happy to try to be accommodating with American Heritage to make sure everyone’s bases were covered, she then chose to insult the intelligence of all three agent/brokers. I have never dealt with so much disrespect and unprofessionalism from an establishment. I’m glad to hear not everyone has had the same experience that we did but it was an experience for us that we simply cannot ignore. And for that we will never attempt to utilize the services here again. While lengthy, I hope that this honest review prevents any further disrespect or unprofessionalism for any future clients or prospective clients of American Heritage. I gave them two stars because they did typically respond quickly, just in my experience with hate and discontent."
