"Unprofessional waste of time not worth one star....Started online return on a Wednesday and by Saturday I still had not heard anything and there was no change in the status of return it just kept saying a professional is working on it.... called the local branch and explained the situation, they were no help either and very rude! I understand it is a busy time of year for you but if you hate your job quit!"

"Cherita was supposed to do my taxes. I haven't heard anything back from her in over 2 weeks. I've tried to message through the online messaging, and nothing. I called the office today and spoke to Gwen, who said she would talk to her manager and call me back, and I did not receive a return call as of yet. I will be calling again tomorrow, and come tax time next year, I will NOT be using H&R block. I have better things to spend over $300 for than a company who is just going to ignore me and screw me over. I'm better off doing my own taxes again."

"Gwen in the Rochelle office is very confused. Tried telling me several things I said that I did not. She knew I came in purposely to try to get the advance and at the end had no idea I was interested in that. I had personally handed her our drivers licenses to make copies when we came back she blamed the front desk girls ( who weren't even there when I brought her the drivers license) that they didn't make the copies when it was her I gave them directly to. Said I was in a hurry leaving for vacation to excuse why she messed up one of the figures on our taxes, have no idea where that came from we were not going anywhere. She claims she doesn't have a copy of one of the forms, that are in the packet she gave me to take home. In result, we now owe the IRS money after initially being told we were getting a decent amount of refund. Very frustrating and disappointing. For many year we have gone here and Mike was amazing, who is no longer there. She has over 20 years experience and it was a nightmare. I will never return to H&R block."
