"James was professional throughout my whole divorce proceeding. He offered great advice and got me thru this grueling process. He answered all of my questions and always kept me apprised of what was going on. I would recommend him to anyone"
"This Lawyer is by far the best in the land. I picked him because he had the same last name as me! ME!?! I almost never see anybody with my last name. Anyway, I got pulled over and harassed by a Tinley Park police officer who was very rude and upset that I wasn’t intimidated by him. He then gave me a direct “lawful” order to follow him to the police station, as a scare tactic, and then proceeded to write me four (4) traffic violation tickets. It was ridiculous. I brought it to the attention of Mr. Podgorny and he said don’t worry about it, I will take care of it. Just hearing those words took a load off my shoulders. And what’s more is that he was telling the truth. We went to this arraignment, I guess you could call it that, in Tinley Park. It was jam packed with people and petty traffic offenses. I was like oh God how long are we gonna have to wait? Well to my surprise not at all. See, Mr. Podgorny has been in this game for a while now and knows people. It was cool because we were treated like VIPs almost in the sense that my attorney and I were the first ones seen. They exchanged a few words and the prosecutor or whatever the position of the guy running the night dropped/dismissed all four tickets. I didn’t have to pay a dime. In fact Mr. Podgorny didn’t even charge me for the service because he was in town anyway and it was a very easy and quick case that he said I could have this one as a freebie (or pro bono is what I think he really said) So in summary, I got four tickets, the sum of which would’ve costed me well over $500, I gave them to my lawyer and he told me to meet him at the place the hearing was held. There were At least 20 people, with a high estimation of 40 people. Because Mr. Podgorny was my attorney we got to skip the line. I think it’s because he’s got connections. It was all free of charge. I couldn’t have prayed for a better outcome. I highly recommend Mr. James A. Podgorny as lawyer. If you want someone who listens to your concerns and gets stuff done, call him immediately. Like I said earlier, he is by far the best in the land!"
"Worst attorney ever. Deserves no stars.Did absolutely nothing. wish i checked Yelp reviews before i hired him. Asked him over and over same things which i was charged for. He was ignorant towards me when i got frustrated with his lack of motivation was told over and over about his 17 yrs experience. after at least 6 weeks when asked for a final bill and refund he sent me and my new attorney new ignorance,,pretty sure he will give me absolutely no refund. He also when i was concerned for my safety advised me to commit a felony by taking my husbands gun and giving it to him to put in his safe.On top of that he discussed my case in a bar with my boyfriend when i was out of town. Be warned..Unmotivated.Unethical Unprofessional. He asked me when i asked for a bill if he was fired.. i said i wanted to know where the money i gave him went..he then excused himself from my case.. knowing he was gonna be fired and filed i was unreasonable and difficult...Guess asking this man to listen to what i was telling him and do his job makes me unreasonable and difficult. My advise..review and do some homework before you hire someone like this!"
