"In November of 2022 my social security deposit went in for $1,800. I woke up to get my 8-year-old daughter ready for school and check My bank account and noticed my account was empty and there was electronic transfer in progress. I immediately called the bank and online bank at that and they told me there was nothing they can do until the transfer went through. I waited 3 days until the transfer went through but while waiting my mortgage was due. My utilities were due. My child's school fees were due. I was going in debt very quickly. I contacted the bank as soon as it went through and they told me they would start and investigation. They did their investigation and return an email saying it. After reviewing everything there was nothing they could do. They were not at fault so therefore consider the case closed. I contacted the bank again. Told them that I don't know anybody in South America. I don't even speak Spanish but after me doing some investigation it was a South American Bitcoin company that took my money. They asked me to email them everything I had and they launched a second investigation. After that investigation they contacted me via email never over the phone and told me again that after their investigation they see no wrong during on their behalf. Consider the case closed. They told me I could appeal it and again they continue to contact me via email saying it there's nothing more they can do. At that time I hired Smith Marco out of Chicago and I'm located in Indiana and they told me what my legal stands was and what their fee was and I said let's do it. I have to say if I have any more problems I will at least call my attorneys at Smith. Marco and get legal advice. I will recommend Smith Marco because I ended going 3 months in debt behind on all my bills. All of my utilities I had to go and ask for general public assistance and Smith. Marco won my case and I came out with my money back in my account after taking them to court. Plus I had a little extra money to spend all my daughter for a very very late Christmas. Yeah my daughter miss Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was just me and her and I had to explain to her and for an 8-year-old little girl.
