"So frustrated. I have a new inflatable hot tub, and I've had two frustrating experiences with Leslie's. The first time I went in (the good time and owner of the 2nd star), I was told to just get shock, that I didn't need chlorine or bromine. But if course, I had read the booklet, so I had to do it my way . . . LOL! Ended up getting bromine. After adding it and reading more, I realized I did need shock, so I went back, explained my situation, and a different clerk gave me the shock. Got home, and it was chlorine shock (even though I told him I had bromine treatment). Luckily, the first clerk had told me not to mix the two, so I had to take it back. Today I went in for chemicals for the pH and TA. He gave me two of them. I said I was expecting three, two for raising and lowering pH and one for TA. He just kind of stared at me. I asked if this would do everything I needed it to do, and he said yes. Got home, and my pH is low. I need to raise it, and neither of the things he gave me will do that. Called the store and was told they don't have anything to raise the pH right now (may not have been the same person). I said that I was told I wouldn't need anything else, and he said yes I did, but they don't have any right now. Over Leslie's!"

"I was treated like a second class person because I am a girl. I waited in line to check out and there was another shopper in the store, so when it's my turn the older man that is checking us out chose the other shopper that wasn't in line but had just walked up to the line to check out and the checker chose the other man over me. Clearly it was my turn, and I said excuse me I was here in line first. The checker said, well the man was in the store before me, although he sure wasn't in line waiting like I was. So the man got to check out over the lady that was clearly there first. Rude. Old man power in that store."

"Wow!! We ordered 3-inch chlorine tabs online for store pick-up at this location a week and a half ago. We received an email that it was ready for pick-up. 20 minutes later, we got a call that it wasn’t ready, but out of stock. We were told we would receive a corporate refund check. When we called Leslie’s customer service, they still showed the order as processing and that no check refund was requested. We called the store back several times, no answer. We were told that it had to be escalated from corporate because the order was processing. All this time, they charged our Amex over $50 for this purchase. I’ve had to call several times to get a refund and still do not have it! Shop another pool supply company. We finally settled on another and got the product we needed timely and with no issues. Will never use this company again. I firmly believe that they said my order was ready and sold the product to someone else to double-dip. Buyer beware."
