"I had a wonderful first experience at Soderstrom! The staff was friendly and welcoming, the waiting area was beautiful and relaxing, and the rooms were clean and serene. I highly recommend the medi-infusion facial! I felt so relaxed the entire time. It was truly a luxury experience, and it left my skin feeling and looking completely smooth, glowing, and hydrated! Moriah is incredibly professional, engaging, and informative. I will definitely be a repeat customer!"
"This was our first time visiting Soderstrom skin institute, it was a great location and the staff were polite and helpful! My family and I went because they were doing a few cancer screening so thank you for hosting that event. After I seen the doctor I walked around to look at all of the product that they had. There were alot of good deals going on and I was familiar with many of the products."
"Overall, I wasn't very please with my experience. The front desk staff was friendly, along with the nurse. I saw Dr. Bradley. He lacked bedside manner, did very little explaining or educating. He did a full body search, yet missed the one mole that was questionable, which was right on my arm. Yet when I showed him the mole, it happened to be the one he removed and had biopsied. In the past, when I've had moles removed they would call me once the results came in from the biopsy, but this place makes you come in and get the results after 2 weeks (another appointment fee). Why would a second appointment be necessary unless there was a concern? The bicitracin cream the nurse said I would need to get was something she said I could get over the counter after I asked if they could prescribe it in order for me to use my HSA card. She said they couldn't do that because it's an over the counter cream. I brushed that off knowing differently. At check out the lady asked me if I wanted to buy the cream there. I asked her how much she said $10. I thought that seemed high, but I was ready to go. ON THE PACKAGE of the cream they sold me it said I could use my HSA account if I had it prescribed to me by a doctor. The cream was returned. My family doctor called the cream in so I could use my HSA. Needless to say, I walked out feeling like I was money in someone's pocket. I've cancelled my husbands appointment and I wont be returning for anything besides my follow up appointment for the results. UPDATE: After writing my review the quality assurance agent for Soderstrom called, which seems to be normal response to an unwanted negative review. She was kind and understanding, but expressed that the review I posted on google affects Dr. Soderstrom directly, versus Dr. Bradley, which was the doctor I was unhappy with during my visit. She asked me if I would be willing to take the review down and place it under Dr. Bradley. I let her know I respect what she is asking, but Dr. Soderstrom is ultimately responsible for the doctors employed in his practice. Since that phone call I have recieved 2 emails from Dr. Bradley's email asking me to rate my experience. I'm unsure why a doctor that I so clearly had a negative experience with would send me a feedback email, but not completely out of the ordinary. Sending me 2 emails asking me for my feedback seems as if his employer is pressing him to take responsibility for the review. On top of a bad experience with lack of bed side manner, misinformed staff, overly priced medication... we have staff requesting the review be taken down, and sending emails asking me to rate the original Dr. under his own name. I've found myself more insulted and frustrated by this company. I hope moving forward this company respects peoples right to review as they see fit and handle the internal issues without probing further feedback from an upset customer to fit their agenda."
"Great experience! Nice clean office. Dr. Soderstrom is very personable and easy to talk to. He is quick to call back if needing to talk with him about any issues. Overall, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and felt cared for/treated as needed. He likes model trains too!"
"I spent over two months having the doctor give me injections and medicine for a stress induced rash that would never clear up. After being charged over $600.00 with NO change, I went for a second opinion. Central IL Dermatology not only got me in within 4 days of my phone call (I had to wait 3 1/2 WEEKS to get in to Soderstrom), the rash was cleared up in just a little over a week!"
