James B. Conant High School 700 East Cougar Trail, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169

"When I went to conant they helped give me more than an education, but support from what I was going through in life. However the school has changed drastically, my little brother is currently in this school, and has told me they are removing the bathroom doors on all facilities and making students pay for the closest parking lot besides the one on School campus. Three things, how aren’t you gonna let some guy or girl peek into the other bathroom, cause the door currently removed in the guys bathroom (closest to the cafeteria) anyone can walk by and see guys urinating. Second this school is now unmotivating kids to begin the first step in living on your own by driving to school, and some parents won’t want to pay for that parking lot so their kids will get used to being on a bus until after high school. Third the school wants so much money to have to divide their $ income in a parking lot that was free, so now it’s putting lower midclass families to buy the lower priced parking lot and make them feel too broke to buy the pass to park on campus. The school helped me but it’s pathetic to what it’s becoming. Hoffman and Schaumburg high school may have more drug abuse but Conant is turning to a point where soon a lower midclass family won’t be accepted and force them to choose other schools around cause the $ is more important to the school now. (PS: I’m not some scum talking the talk, I fight for our country but Ill fight for my little brother more)"

"If it wasn’t for CONANT I wouldn’t be as successful as I am. Teachers are intent on bettering students. So many of my teachers were also involved in extra curricular activities like sports and different clubs. I counted 11 family members who entrusted Con-ant to give us a great foundation in life. Some of these bad reviews blame the school when in fact a mirror would be more appropriate. Conant has given my family and I the right direction."

"As a mother I'm telling you Do Not Let your kid at this school The school stuff didn't care about the kids and safety There is consistently selling marijuana at school,students smoke in man bathrooms and school "didn't know " and try to ignore the problem"

"The school and entire D 211 is overrated., big time. "Nothing special" after 4 years experience. Providing I pods for students by D 211 wasn't the smartest idea. Teenagers are wasting tons of their time."

"Very resourceful school with unlimited opportunities for students. Facility is amazing, clean and kept to date. An amazing asset to the local community."
