"Jerry Evans School of Music is great! Our son has been taking drum lessons there with Stephen Utterback for 3 years and his skills have grown continuously the entire time. Stephen is a great, engaging instructor that works on teaching the notes, musicality and fundamentals in a fun learning environment. The semester end concerts where they pair other students on different instruments to perform a song as a band are a blast and another great opportunity for musical growth. "I would recommend Jerry Evans School of Music. As a whole, the staff is very passionate about music and teaching the kids, I'm an adult learning the electric bass. There has always been open communication as far as what I wanted versus needed to learn. It has been fun learning to play while playing fun songs. Lastly, the concerts at the end of the sessions have been a wonderful experience for me. You have the chance to perform to family members and the other students. Overall, I had a great experience."
