"I am writing to express my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with the LEGO Python Engineers Program, which my son recently participated in. As a concerned parent, I expected this program to be a valuable and enjoyable learning experience for my child. However, it fell far short of our expectations, and I feel compelled to share our concerns. I expected a comprehensive and engaging learning experience, but unfortunately, it fell far short of my expectations. For my son, who is an enthusiastic learner, the program doesn't even touch the basics of Python. My primary concern is that the program did not even touch the basics of Python programming. Instead of providing a foundational understanding of Python and introducing participants to essential concepts, the entire focus was on Scratch. The lack of a proper text editor or the opportunity to write actual Python code was a significant drawback of the program. A crucial aspect of learning Python is the hands-on experience of writing and executing code in a real coding environment. As a parent, I expect open and transparent communication to ensure my child's learning needs are met, but unfortunately, this aspect was severely lacking. Moreover, the quality of instruction and supervision left much to be desired. The instructors appeared disinterested and unenthusiastic during the sessions, failing to capture the attention of young minds. This lack of engagement resulted in my son losing interest in the program and losing motivation to continue. I don't recommend this place for learning Python for kids."

"My son has learned so much about coding that he has been able to apply his learning to create his own Roblox games. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend the Bartlett or Hoffman Estates location."

"My kids love coming to Code Ninjas (they've done both summer camps and day camps during the school year). They love learning how to code in their favorite games, and we love that they're learning while still having fun. The staff is really great and my kids really enjoy it. Highly recommended!"

"My son has attended Code Ninja for 4 years now and loves it. It is a great chance for him to practice new skills while learning more about the games and videos he already likes. It has been fun watching him grow through the camps and the projects."

"We had an awesome experience with Code Ninjas Bartlett! My 9-year-old son took a week-long Zoom Java Script coding class and really loved it. The instructor did a great job providing individualized attention to each participant and ensuring they understood each lesson. I wasn't sure how much they would be able to accomplish in a week, but Code Ninjas had a great platform that allowed the kids to program actual games they could play, so my son really felt like he learned a lot and accomplished something each day. The class kept his attention for three solid hours every day, which really says a lot! The staff was super helpful and responsive, too, and I thought the class was a good value. Highly recommended for kids wanting to learn the basics of coding in a fun and accessible way."
