"I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Hired for a simple traffic ticket. In the first two interactions with the secretary, she mishandled two emails. One of which was supposed to be the plea I was accepting, that turned out to be a different persons personal information. She told me sorry and that she was having a very stressful day. I told her I understand, I have those too. I signed the plea agreement, sent it in. Secretary says it can’t be sent in without money order. Had money order sent. Week later proceeds to tell me it still couldn’t be sent in, that I needed to do the things I agreed to in the plea before the turns the plea in via circuit courts policy. Called the circuit court, they told me that was false. I called Jim’s office back, they told me if I called back again they would charge me another $250. Long story short , we had an argument on the phone about the order of operations of the plea. So I went straight to the court and prosecuting attorney, and they told me everything I needed to do. In the meantime after begging to talk to the man I paid to talk too, he finally calls me to tell me the secretary told him I was being abusive over the phone, and that he is withdrawing from my case, without asking my side of the story. Thank God though, I was over it at that point. It’s been over a month and they did nothing but prolong my case and sent me on two wild goose chases. At the end of the day, I was sent someone else’s confidential information by the secretary. She did not like that I didn’t trust her after that and kept asking thorough questions after I had every right too. She refused to let me talk to anybody else, and would hang up. And take this how you please, but after explaining and showing all of this to the prosecuting attorney, they lightened my plea! Seems as if they understood what was happening. Mr. Willis did say he would give me my money back, but that’s not been recovered, yet, as it was probably mishandled or sent to the wrong person, most likely."
"If I could give a 0 I would. Don’t trust this man with your freedom. He works with the courts to make money off people. He set my husband up for failure while making it seem as if he was helping him. Then still has the nerve to send a bill when was already paid upfront in full. I need to send him a bill. My husband is in jail for years and come to find out Willis didn’t do a lot of things he was suppose to including going through evidence. Karma is real and god don’t sleep. Hell have his day when god deals with him. Don’t trust this guy."
"Very understanding and helpful of the situation your in. Definitely willing to work with you and help you. Very friendly and well spoken service from the lady's behind the phones. Thank you very much, would highly recommend."
"Mr. Willis has been handling a case for me, and I've been extremely happy and confident during the process. Not only is he an outstanding attorney with a great staff, but he's a very kind and compassionate man. I highly recommend him."
"Waste of time and definitely your money! Lawyer didn't help me at court, got sent to jail. Entire month being incarcerated I never heard one word, not a visit or anything else. Never tried to reach out to me, can never get ahold of him. Have tried multiple times reaching out to him and always intercepted by his secretary's who will give you some b. S . Run-around . I should've just got a public pretender , would've been better off than wasting my hard earned money on this mockery like scamof a law firm. BEWARE!"
