"This 2018 year I was very disappointed with Summer Camping events, or I should say at least with Soccer and Dance activities. My kids were anxious to start very soon those, but finally once they were excited after the first class they had attended, then suddenly nobody notified us that both classes were cancelled without any particular reason and I believe we deserved an explanation at that time ,obviously after all, as a parent I felt disinterested about it. I think that unfortunately was not very well treated because the ladies on charge of those classes were careless and worked in a very short time with lots of breakes. I really enrolled my kids In soccer summer camp because last year, Mr. German Rdz. did a very reponsible and wonderfull job during the whole two weeks and with more than two hours per day, he really enjoy his job ( as we all did) and taught excellent skills to play soccer. I took my children expecting them to repeat this great opportunity and for free from the district 131, but sadly, this year was not the same thing, and I wish somebody in the district take into account these unfortunate events to improve the next year. Thanks for any attention to this matter!!"

"I am a firm believer in that a proper education starts with the parent. I will not blame the district, I will not blame the teacher. If I put in the work with my child, my child will succeed. My child started his education at the Aries "Jaybird" Gonzalez Child Service Center and it was the best experience. His teacher Miss Shannon made my sons first year of school a memorable one. I put in as much work as I could and with the help of his teacher, he is beyond the point of where he "should be" at his age. As far as the workers that work at the district, I have not had the pleasure of speaking to them or working with them but I believe if I need to address any issue, it will be handled as long as respect is given from both parties. We love EA. Once a Tomcat, always a tomcat."

"Honestly the worst district in the state. The teachers are horrible and all the people that work for the district are disrespectful, rude, and don’t care about current or past students . Please do your children and your self a favor and stay out of district 131"

"So many dedicated staff here, they live for these kids here. There are plenty of support programs here for kids of all developmental levels. The only downside is that picking up kids here is a tremendous hassle regardless of the small army of crossing guards."
