"Creative Arts is a non-profit art school for students of all ages, located on grounds of the Dole Mansion in Crystal Lake, Illinois. The Director earned a BA in Creative Writing from Beloit College in Wisconsin and a Masters of Fine Arts from Academy of Arts University in San Francisco. The Director also studied in Japan and Morocco. Despite these impressive credentials, the school is down-to-earth and has something to offer for budding artists of all ages and skill levels. The curriculum is designed to inspire creativity and diversity. The teaching style is coaching / mentoring. Classes include painting, drawing, sculpting, sewing, crochet, fantasy art, digital art, Manga and more."
"My son is going on his 5th session there and I can't say enough good things! Sam, the director is amazing! She goes above and beyond. My son really enjoyed his mini Monet class along with his sculpting class. His favorite class by far though, is sewing!"
