Murphysboro High School

"It was a decent school to go to... Most of the teacher's were fair, but the "Principal" was somewhat "RACIST", and didn't really seem to like the "REDNECK/COUNTRY" type student's... I remember my Senior Prom where he let 3-5 student's (Basketball Players) leave early, (like 30Mins-1hr) but made Me & my CLICHE (Redneck/Country) type student's wait till Midnight Exactly before he let any of us leave... His reason was that they had family emergencies... One guy from our group got a call from his MoM,(Around 10:30) cuz his Sister was in a car wreck around 10:00, and was at the hospital... When I heard they wouldn't let him leave, I become Enraged, and was gonna Hit the Principal!!! But my friend's grabbed me and stopped me!!! LoL... Plus I was also "KICKED OUT" with a Diploma!!! I was behind some "CREDITS" and they wouldn't let me come back to school the following year to get them... They changed my transcript's and whatnot soo, I could graduate with my class... I'm sure they could get into trouble doing that... Hell It's probably illegal!!! I've also heard the school has gotten a lot worse since my class..."

"My daughter went to this high school last year. She did not have the best time there. It's too bad that this is the only Public High School in town. If you have an opportunity to send your children to private school I would suggest it. I hate to give a negative review but I've got to be honest."
