"I'm proud to say that I attended the CDL training course at Kaskaskia's 160 Driving Academy. The course is well ordered and easy to understand. All of the instructors are knowledgeable and patient and willing to help you learn. I recommend this course to anyone wanting to obtain a Class A CDL. There are services available for almost any circumstances that may be keeping you from enrollment(childcare, gas cards,etc.) I did not know how to operate a manual vehicle in December of 2023. I can now safely operate a 10 speed manual transmission tractor trailer and it's not even February of 2024 yet. That is how fast anyone can learn this in demand skill. I want to personally thank the yard instructors for their patience and dedication to teach me on those freezing mornings on the yard. I will not forget this experience. I would also like to mention the Workforce Equity Initiative program which enabled me to attend free of charge and offered gas cards and other wrap around services included in the 160 Driving Academy course. I thank Charlee George for her selfless service and taking time to help make my resume into something I can present to my future employer with confidence. I am thankful for everyone involved for the above and beyond assistance in securing a career."

"I definitely recommend this school and location. Renee was very helpful and resourceful. The instructors - Jamie, JJ, and Jeff was great too. They really taught you the ins and outs with the truck/trailer, the skills, and the road. Renee and the instructors was always pushing for you. Loved how the students was there for eachother, helping eachother out too. The atmosphere was wonderful. Just remember, what you do during the school with help with the actual test day.
