Reviews of Brad K. Greenspan, M.D.
"Careful with this man. Back in 2020, he put me on and took me off several ssris. Resulted with me ending up in a psychiatric hospital due to SS thoughts. I’m glad I’m off all medications now and doing good. Stay away from this crazy old man."
"Dr. Greenspan 'treated' my wife. He took her off the meds, prematurely, that had helped her previously and eventually ended up helping her again as prescribed by our current Dr. Dr Greenspan changed her meds every 3-6 weeks for basically a year while we dealt with a severe depression state for my wife for what ended up being 17 months (5 different med attempts from Dr Greenspan). His "just take this you'll be fine" approach stole almost two years of our life. He even scolded me for logging her behavior and activities for 3 weeks then sharing them to help give him insight to our daily struggles. He came across as cold and condescending and only interested in 15 min appointments that resulted in frequent changes in meds. Meds that take 6-10 weeks to help, he was swapping at 3-4. I'd suggest you keep looking if you are in an extreme case of need. Sincerely, A concerned husband who let this lay way too long. Luckily we found another Dr who listens and committed to helping us! It took 17 months for my wife to pull out. Keep faith and keep trying, hopefully you can find success! In reply to your response. I'm not blaming you for her anxiety and depressive state. I'm explaining that the multiple changes of meds before they really could have started to help, and the removal of the meds that had helped her previously and that evenually helped again all contributed to prolonging her illness. The time her current Dr. spent and spends with her to understand what she was going through and how she's doing now is night and day from what she got from your treatment. I wrote this as the partner who had to work through and drive the fight against this mental health situation. Her level of care she's gotten from her current Dr. has been wonderful. I truely believe that had you done a bit more research into the timeline her case needed for the prescribed drugs to help and spent a little more time on her case that she would have been able to recover faster. We will never know. What we do know is the level of care she is getting now is superior to what you gave her. I'm just sharing our experience. This isn't meant to be a personal attack, It's meant to be informative to others trying to manage extreme cases of anxiety and depression like she suffered from. I think your approach might probably fine for many people, but our extreme case unfornately needed more."
"I have been under Dr. Greenspan's care for a number of years. I find him easy to speak with. I find his advice to be helpful. He is responsive in terms of medication needs. I appreciate his compassion and professionalism."
"A wonderful kind, and understanding listener. If you or anyone you know is struggling with depression or anxiety, or any mental health issues, go and get help. So grateful"
