First Community Arena

First Community Arena, located on Circle Drive in Edwardsville, Illinois, is a state-of-the-art facility within Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s Vadalabene Center. With the naming rights acquired by First Community Credit Union, the arena is now known as First Community Arena at the Vadalabene Center. This partnership, which is the largest corporate naming rights arrangement at SIUE, will last for 10 years with a potential extension until 2031.

The collaboration between SIUE and First Community Credit Union signifies a strong community relationship and support for higher education. With over 40 locations in the St. Louis Metro area, including branches in Illinois communities, First Community is committed to providing financial services for families at every stage of their lives.

The partnership between First Community and SIUE will have a transformational effect on student-athletes by enhancing services in areas such as strength and conditioning, academic support, nutrition, and mental well-being. The support from First Community President and CEO, Glenn Barks, and Vice President of Marketing, Laura Alfeldt, demonstrates a genuine interest in making this partnership a reality.
