"This post office has delivered packages of mine to other addresses, not delivered packages that will fit in my mailbox while delivering other mail, and left packages by mailbox out in the rain with no protection many many times. I hate this post office and wish Amazon would stop using USPS."
"Probably the worst managed Post Office I've ever had to deal with the laziness the incompetence of whoever runs this place is just mind boggling to me they let carriers decide if they want to deliver the mail or not"
"They let the mail carrier decide if he wants to deliver my mail or not. I have called and sent in complaints but the post master won't even flow up. The mail carrier isn't returning my mail to the post office so I can pick it up. He doesn't care if it's bank items or my medicine."
"I would like to take a minute to let someone know that on Saturday, August 27, while in route to visit my aunt who lives in Clarksville, Mo we happen to come upon a detour on rt 79, being from Illinois and not knowing a thing about the area I was really uneasy about trying to make the rest of the trip although I knew I wasn't too far away on 79 I also knew there was no getting there via that route. After I came upon the road closed sign at the bridge and realizing that somehow I had missed the detour I immediately turned around and headed back. Once I saw the Elsberry sign I decided to see if I could find someone who could help. About half way up one of the side streets near the school I ran into a young man who worked for the post office out delivering mail. I flagged him down and asked if he could possible help get me to my destination. The directions he gave me were so simple that I make my way there all the way around in about 45 minutes...I did not get his name but I hope he sees this and knows how grateful I am for the directions! He was so courteous and so very helpful...Thank you!"
