"After 6 long years of being caught in Canton's Lutheran Social Services system for failure to thrive as an infant. My Cousin Ruebynn is finally being reunited to his (our) biological family and his Mother. Please know that his mother works, has her own home, no men in her life and doesnt have any substance abuse or alcoholism problems. She is now a mature young lady who deserves and has deserved her son but yet LLSI would not put reunification on the table or give her a chance . There were lots of tears shed by my family, lots of sleepless nights, and thousands of dollars spent on lawyers. But he is coming HOME! No LSSI involvement any longer and NO more being told when and how she can see her son. There were a village of people behind her this whole time and we NEVER gave up fighting.
