Rural King

"I don’t visit there often due to I live close to Festus,Mo.and I will drive there ,they are friendly ,helpful ,polite ,and I will drive the extra miles to get great customer service ,they also have popcorn for the customers just like Buchheit used to .I had a return and I had my receipt and I had no problems they are great and there is a Walmart real close to Rural King and it’s a huge store ,and yes I give them 10 stars !"

"Stopped in for my sister to get some laundry detergent and toilet paper and very reasonable prices and lots to look at!! Plus always a bonus when u walk in there us fresh popped popcorn to eat while shopping around bonus!!"

"We love going in for home, clothing, pet, and farm items. Everyone is always so nice and helpful, and the popcorn while you shop is always great too! And we love taking our dog in with us (and she loves it too!)"

"If you need about anything except groceries, and they even have some of those, this place is for you. My trip here was really just a fact finding mission because I wanted to know if they sold mature chickens. They don't.... just chicks. However, they sell just about everything else. Clothes, my wife got a Rural King hat, fishing gear, guns, small to medium farm equipment, home improvement stuff, pet toys and treats, and chicken feed. We left with peanut butter filled pretzels, pig ear treats, and the aforementioned hat. Got a pair of huge roosters that are fun to hear throughout the store. Place is definitely a little sloppy. Not a ton of effort in presentation. The other issue, and we may have hit them at a bad time, was when we checked out the lines were out of control and the staff really had no real sense of urgency to get the lines down. When we got up to checkout the checker wasn't rude, but wasn't exactly friendly either. Put a bit of a damper on the trip."
