"I ordered something from a pet vitamin shop. I got a notification that it was delivered by this company, whom I have never heard of, in 2 days. I come home from work and it’s not in my mailbox, by my front or back door, by the garage .. nowhere. I see the reviews here and I figure, oh these idiots dropped it at my neighbors house. They use the GPS as a guide instead of looking at my actual address then, it will show my location 2 houses down. GPS is not completely reliable. But again, this company is based in Illinois, no surprise. Stupid!!"
"we had a little bit of an issue initially. we live in a newly built house out in the country, so delivery people often struggle to find our house (other companies as well, not just better trucks). so they failed to find our house and the delivery was not made, obviously i was disappointed. but the reason for the 5-star rating and my writing this review is from their customer service and how they resolved the issue. some companies seem impossible to ever actually get a hold of a real person, not better trucks! i reached out to customer service, and i think within an hour or so someone had written me back. i explained the issue and how to find the house. she said she would pass the information along to the delivery driver. she communicated with me several times later that day making sure they had all the information they needed. she assured me they would do everything they could to make the delivery the very next day. and they did!! it was a perfect example of how customer service SHOULD work when an issue arises. issues are inevitable. good customer service is not. and better trucks delivered an incredible customer service experience. thank you!!"
"Well, first of all I was a driver for better trucks, and let me say I do not recommend at all. You contact these folks and barley get a response, unless you call and even then the dispatcher can only take a message to relay to someone else. Also the guy that’s over the Milwaukee area, the pick up storage is In Waukesha, is very rude. He curses like a sailor… huffs and puffs when you call to ask questions while out delivering, take 6 to 7 hours to communicate back when you text him about anything, and thinks it cool to push your pay to process when he’s ready to! I had to contact dispatcher and had them relay a message to HR just to find out he could have been pushed my paid but instead he made it seem like he had no control over it, because of a misunderstanding we had while I was returning a undeliverable package. He said “y'all need to chill out y'all be so high alert”. I’m guessing he meant I'm quick to pop off or some, but first of all sir you don’t even know me, that was my second day picking up a shift. You can’t possibly know my personality in 2 days. I’m not high alert… you just get offend fast that all. Save yourself the time and headache and just find a different gig!!!"
"Kiss your package good bye if shipped by better trucks. If it has any value it will be stolen by the drivers. The last mile shipping using gig drivers could not be a worse idea, incentives people to steal. Good luck with customer service. It boggles my mind that multi-billion dollar retailers would use such a service especially when they have access to reliable and reputable shippers."
"Reporting this company to the Attorney General. I cannot understand how they are still able to legally operate a business in this state. My package has been with them for over 10 days with no deliver date in sight, as they keep missing the delivery deadlines. Getting ahold of someone from CS is practically impossible. They need to be shut down"
