"My children's school uses Lincoln Way transportation, and they just shared with me that their bus driver break checked them for "sticking their hands on the window" Which that is not a reason to break check a bus full of elementary/ and Jr. High students. Break checking in Illinois is NOT legal. I contacted the school as well as the transportation office. So I really hope they look into this and get this lady fired and charged with a misdemeanor."

"I imagine 98% of the bus drivers are fantastic. I am sure they take their kids’ safety into account and are get their kids to their destination consistently. However when I witnessed a driver being unsafe loading and unloading children and shouting at nearby adults questioning this, I brought it to the attention of Lincolnway transportation. I was told it would be looked into however the tone of the woman’s voice on the phone was sarcastic which told me they probably were going to do nothing. Even though I shared multiple accounts of unprofessional and unsafe behavior of the bus driver over a long period of time, I still felt the bus company was not going to address the issue. Personally I want to know all kids’ safety and setting a good example, with professional behavior, are priorities to the bus company for the well-being of the children."
