"I recently moved from Chicago to Denver using U-Pack, and it was definitely the right call. I booked my container about a month before my move date and did a terminal to door delivery because the city did not allow containers on the street where I was living. Even with a rental truck to get my things to the terminal, the move cost about 60% of what other companies would have cost. Additionally, delivery was super fast and easy. The fastest quote I received form other companies was 5-8 business days. U-Pack told me 3-5, and my stuff made it to Denver in 2. Once there, they held it for a few days until I could have it delivered to my door on a weekend (for no extra charge). Everyone I interacted with, from customer service to the delivery driver, was super helpful, friendly, and laid back. I was able to fit a queen bed, frame, dresser, tv stand, coffee table, night stand, a bunch of boxes, and my bike in the container. I drove a car full of things out with me, but most of that would have fit in the container as well. I could see having trouble fitting a couch or love seat in the container with everything else I had, but it would have been worth a try. The only downside to my move was that my dresser got a bunch of scratches on top due to boxes sliding around on it during transit, but that's my fault for not putting more padding down between the two. Be smart about how you pack the container, and use some sort of padding where needed- your stuff will shift around. If you don't own a lot and want to move cross-country, seriously consider U-Pack as your option. It might still be worth it if you need more than one container- having seen how easy it was, my parents are considering getting a couple of containers for their upcoming move. Good luck."
