Equid-Nexus

Equid-Nexus™ is a unique health institution located at 1403 Illinois 23, Marengo, Illinois, United States. The institution focuses on educating therapy teams on integrating IFS-Informed EMDR into Equine Engaged Psychotherapy to treat and heal relational trauma. Led by founder Jenn Pagone, Equid-Nexus™ follows a facilitation model that emphasizes professional development through experiential learning, with a focus on Self-Energy and relational awareness within the human and horse relationship. The institution upholds an ethical dedication to the emotional and physical welfare of the equine partners, known as Self-Led Horsemanship™.

Equid-Nexus™ offers an Equine Engaged Parts Work Psychotherapy model and Training Program based on Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed EMDR. This model aims to help individuals heal relational trauma by building relational consciousness and identifying parts of themselves holding emotional pain from past attachment ruptures. Through building a connected relationship with their equine partner, individuals can work towards healing and secure attachment with themselves and others.

Jenn Pagone, a certified IFS Trauma Recovery Specialist, offers on-site trainings, virtual workshops, clinical consultation, Self-Led Horsemanship Clinics, and more at Whispering White Horse Stables. With over 15 years of experience specializing in treating women with complex trauma, Jenn is dedicated to fostering growth and learning in other professionals in the equine-assisted services field.

At Whispering White Horse Stables, there are 9 therapy horses, each uniquely gifted to add value to the program. It is emphasized that these horses are known for who they are, rather than what they may represent by projection or transference. Equid-Nexus™ is committed to creating a Self-Led community for those in the equine-assisted services field, promoting healing and growth through the human and horse relationship.
