George T. Wilkins Elementary School

"There are good teachers and there are horrible ones and unfortunately there isn’t enough balance to give this school anything more than 1 star.. I’m currently dealing with a phenomenal teacher who communicates and is patient and organized, then a teacher who is completely absent and I doubt if she knows her students names by their face she does not communicate she is extremely unorganized we gave her a pass last year because she was new but this year was just as disappointing and finally another teacher who is more like a teachers assistant than an actual instructor she gets too personal with the kids does not behave as a responsible adult and my kid can come home and tell me everything about her teacher life from her father to her children to her favorite song and in turn can’t tell me anything about a lesson I can’t count how many assignments came home that she had no clue how to do them. I tried to not leave a bad review for so long but it’s necessary at this point because Wilkins really needs to consider who they are giving the role of TEACHER to. Might I add no tutoring programs no summer programs I find it hard to believe a school this big serving children from Kindergarten all the way through 8th that not one student needs extra time and extra help???"

"I went to this school starting for kindergarten-3rd grade. Its an awesome school. I really enjoyed it! But I am now in 8th grade. I miss this school."
