"Given one van, then switched to another one without rechecking the fuel level. The first van was full, the second, 3/4 of a tank. Returned it full, even though I only used 1.6 gallons. Fuel level discrepancy ironed out after the fact with UHaul customer service without a hassle."

"Buyer beware! U-Haul will let you make a reservation online and let you think that you have a storage space the size you asked for on the day you asked for it, when in reality they don’t have it available for you. I showed up on the day I was moving all of my furniture out of my house thinking I had a big storage unit to put it all in. When I arrived to get my unit I was told they only had small ones available. Small ones that wouldn’t hold all of my furniture. I ended up having y rent two small units from uhaul and another small unit from another place to stuff my furniture into. I contacted the manager as I was told to do and he just told me that I would be paying the same amount for two small units, not caring that my stuff wouldn’t fit into them. I will never rent from Uhaul again."

"Upon returning the truck I had rented from another U-Haul location, the employee who was checking my truck in wanted to argue about the fuel level. First, U-Haul did not send this location the pictures I uploaded to their site, through the U-Haul link showing the fuel level was recorded incorrectly at the time of rental. Then, when I showed the employee the pictures he still wanted to argue about the fuel level. So, I have uploaded both pictures here, and they both have the mileage in them (start and end). You decide for yourself. Whatever you decide, I know that I will not be giving my business to this U-Haul location again."

"The costumer service was great. I was able to get a truck without a reservation. I would recommend during busy times of the year like going back to college you reserve a truck. My only issue was the truck I got smelled if cigarette smoke. My over all experience was great. The clerk was very helpful and was quick to get me out and check the truck back in."
