"I grew up as a public school kid and my mom taught for 36 years in a public school setting, so when my wife wanted our daughter (now daughters) to go to Notre Dame, I was suspect as to the value I'd receive for the tuition. In short, I am blown away. The school faculty and administration, the school families, the broader parish were so welcoming, and all truly took an interest in our getting the most from the school and the parish (we were new to the parish as well). In this current world, knowing my daughters go to a school that starts the day with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer, with teachers that know them and us, that parents look out for each other and each others kids...it truly has been an amazing experience. After three years, I more than sold, I'm a huge advocate and look forward to seeing them graduate from 8th grade at Notre Dame."
