"I applied for a driver's position. I was told I failed the safety section of the assessment. I do not believe it. I have driven a bus before. I called twice and was told that I would receive a call back based upon my. Challenge to their position. Received nothing. I think they only want female drivers and no black male drivers. Prejudice against black male drivers. I'm actually over qualified with my credentials."

"Dishonest company. They lie, lie, lie! Very incompetent. Just be upfront about what Septran has to offer --which apparently isn't much. They made the new applicants believe we would have a route in the Summer after we received our CDL. Not true and didn't learn about this pertinent detail until much later. What are we supposed to do in the meantime? They assured us that we could work around the office for a mere 10 an hour until then! Maybe a min. of 20 hrs. a week! Wow! No... just no."

"Very poor experience with Septran... Last year: -One driver almost ran over my child because he forgot to put the bus in park, then proceeded to get out of the bus, yell, and try to come into my home - I contacted the company several times about a student threatening to bring weapons (including a gun) and had a full plan as to how he would get it and it took multiple phone calls to finally get through to a manager. The manager then told me he had never gotten any of my messages. -Another bus driver, was overheard by my neighbors screaming "shut up" at the children. -A bus driver was texting and talking on phone while driving. Had her car filled with fast food wrappers and made the children sit on/around them. The same driver attempted to hit my child ( my child tried to record her reaching back at him). This year: - There was a man who would say extremely inappropriate things to the children as well as regularly text while behind the wheel of the bus. The same driver made false reports as well. - I had to contact the bus company several times because they were allowing a student to regularly expose himself. - A female bus driver physically assaulted my child which resulted in me having to take my child to the hospital to have his head injury examined. (The driver smashed his head into a window) -The same driver and driver's assistant would tease my child by dangling his/her lunch out of the window as well as throwing prizes from school outside of the vehicle. The company switches bus drivers daily and the managers avoid answering phone calls regarding questions or concerns. The bus was almost two hours late arriving home after school and the drivers have just not showed up in the morning before as well."
