Reviews
"The UPS store on Lake Street in Oak Park is always my go-to when shipping packages. The team there is very helpful. They manage the line quickly and offer useful advice regarding getting your package to its destination in the most efficient and cost effective way."
"Service was good and employee was helpful. However I was charged $1.98 for a two page black/white print job. This file was in my email but their kiosk was not working so they had me emailed to them. When I inquired about price I was told using the computer is even more expensive. I wasn’t able to find their fees or prices online so I can’t even be sure I was charged correctly. I print randomly for work on the go at OM or FedEx never paid more than $0.21 a page. Very surprising I’m glad I didn’t have a large print order this time."
"Awesome People Awesome Place, I Went In There And Had 2 Use Their Computer To Print Up A Return Shipping And Packing Label That Was Sent By Email, U Can Use The Store Computer For .75 cents, After Finding My Email On The Screen My Mind Went Totally Blank As How To Print It Up And I Only Had A Few Seconds To Print It Out Before My Session Ended And I Have To Pay Again, I Panicked A Lil Bit, Nevertheless A Employee Saw Me And Without Hesitation He Jumped Right On In There And Took Care Of It 4 Me As Well As Shipped The Package Off 4 Me, What A Great Employee What A Great Store!!!"
"I’ve been here only 2-3 times for quick and easy access for my return deliveries. I didn’t need help from anyone so very easy and self explanatory to do everything myself. So far so good! The two gentlemen working the front were fine and helpful when I needed to purchase tape or packing slips."
"Dear UPS, So I got two different print orders done and picked this location. The first time the guys were very polite and had my order ready the other week. I guess something got mixed up and ended up getting my second batch from the lovely staff on North Ave. I will no longer go to this store here in Oak Park due to the deplorable attitude of a staff member at that location unless they are removed or fix themselves. I did not get a name, or it would be in my review. It was the not white lady working on shift around 5pm on Tuesday, Nov. 28th. Due to my mix up that I was unaware of still(I picked Oak Park downtown location first, then I started my print order, still boggles my mind how it moved to a different store, but whatever) I expected to pick up the next day, but I got a call while in a meeting. It was the UPS, so I didn't think twice about listening to the full voicemail, just heard my order was ready. By the time I'm done freezing my butt off walking to the Oak Park store after parking, I waited in line and then was helped by this nice young man. I feel terrible because he looked terrified my order wasn't ready. I don't know if he got a manager or what, but a lady comes out and asks for my name rudely. I gave it to her and then didn't think twice about showing her the transcription on my phone that I didn't even read. She looks at it and was like, oh that's not us no. And has some sort of audacity to tell me that "if I listened to it again, maybe I would hear it wasn't their store." In the sassiest way she could have said it. THE AUDACITY!!! I am a paying customer! You DO NOT speak to customers that way!! Are you kidding me? I want to be contacted by this store and I would like her to be spoken to. If she is a manager she needs demotion ASAP as she showed her younger coworkers that you can speak that way to customers!! ( Pretty sure at least one of the guys standing there knew what she did was wrong, he tried to make it up by saying have a good day in a nice friendly voice as I left.) I work in customer service and I have not once used a "tone" with a customer, EVEN WHILE BEING YELED AT. Learn some patience and keep your nasty attitude out of your job, its a job. I still had to go to yet another store to get my stuff, I did NOT need that lady's attitude. All I needed to be told was "oh that's the store up north, are you sure you printed here?" I am a very reasonable person and did nothing to deserve such ignorant treatment. There are so so so many other ways that could have been handled. What an absolute joke! I hope she sees this review too, because she needs to see what her sassy unprofessional tone does in the work place(hint, it just causes issues). Eagerly awaiting your reply, Abigail"
