"If you like crawling under your truck and trailers multiple times per shift, then you’ll be a great fit here. You’ll get plenty of experience taking pictures with your phone too, so you can add amateur photography to your resume. They have some newer trucks, but the majority of their fleet consists of old beat up trucks with dirty interiors. You’ll waste a lot of time taking pictures, waiting on loads, and will soon realize that you’re underpaid. Your work/life balance will also suffer as well. Don’t get me wrong, you’ll meet some nice people at the company, but that’s not good enough to pay your bills. Your schedule will vary, you will not have a consistent off day (6 day work schedule), your hourly rate will fluctuate per day, and you will slip seat a lot. Ask them how many drivers they’ve hired within the last 1-2 years, and how many of those drivers have they retained."
