"It’s great to walk in and get your questions answered and get the education as needed on parts of your bicycle and riding when you need it. My Keo cleats are wearing out, and I’ve been using them for 10 years. Doug was good enough to suggest upgrading to a moral robust brand and Sam offered good advice on transitioning from what I’ve got now on my trainer and putting those on my road bike and buying just enough stuff Friday to get the job done. "Doug and his team at the Trek store in Peoria Heights are hands down some of the best people around. They've always been very helpful every time I've been in the store. Doug has even gone out of his way to reach out and contact me after hours on his own personal time. If that isn't costumer service then I'm not sure what is. Ever since my first purchase from them they have always gone above and beyond my expectations have always left the store amazed at how well they take care of their customers. It's definitely customer first at this store with employees that have a great attitude, friendly and are always more than willing to help you out any way they can. Whether it's the purchase of a new bike, issues that you maybe having or any accessories that you are looking into the employees are very knowledgeable in the products they are selling. I live in Galesburg so it's about a forty minute drive for me but it's always worth the drive. I've always left the store more than happy with the customer service that I've received along with the peace of mind knowing that whatever issues I had when I arrived have been addressed and taken care of. I consider Doug and Colton to be friends and not just a couple of guys that work at the store. How often can you say that about any other place that you go shopping. Nothing against any of the other employees but these are the two guys that I have the most contact with whenever I visit the store. There have been times that I could have purchased an item online with two day delivery from Amazon but instead I chose to make the drive over to the store so I could stop in and just visit with the guys while making my purchase and supporting my some what local bike shop. If you are looking for a new bike or any accessories I highly suggest stopping in and paying them a visit and don't forget...you get what you pay for these days and in my experience you won't find a better company that Trek for too quality products and you definitely won't find a better store with friendly employees that always go above and beyond when it comes to any needs that you have. You'll always see the same faces when you go in and that should tell you everything that you need to know about the employees. They love working on bikes and they are all about customers satisfaction. That's a had thing to find these days with just about any place you go but you'll always find it at Trek in Peoria Heights. Seriously , I can't say enough about how great this place is. You can tell that it's Doug's priority when it comes to hiring the right people for the job. Thanks for being the awesome employees that you all are and a special thanks to Doug for always helping me out and being more than willing in getting me squared away on more than one occasion.
