Reviews of Lakeside Behavioral Health LLC
"This experience was absolutely life changing for me. I suffered from PTSD for 10 years roughly due to being a police officer and working in the Ferguson riots. If you are struggling with depression, anxiety or ptsd please strongly consider doing TMS. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. I feel better than I have felt in 10 years. I have zero depression and little to no anxiety. Prior to doing TMS, my life was a mess. Now I have my old self back and have a bright future without limits. Tammy is an amazing person both personally and professionally. Whatever she is making isn’t enough. She is AMAZING. Thank you for changing my life!!!"
"TMS was not new to me. I had received the treatment before in another state. I was a nervous about this go round because my previous TMS tech had been so supportive and helpful. Within a couple visit my anxiety was relieved. Tammy could not have been more caring and personable. I felt seen and heard in a way I think is rare today."
"I came for TMS therapy. The entire staff was great! Tammy and the receptionist were two of the nicest people I've ever met. Every appointment the receptionist had something nice to say to me. The World needs more of that. All the time everywhere"
"I had a pretty good experience with lakeside behavior health. When I went in I was taking tons of medication that I had largely stopped responding to? The TMS changed my depression and its manageable without Anti depressants for the first time in over 7 years? I came here looking for something and I believe I recieved it? Tammy cried when I left? Has it changed my life? I'm still waiting on God for that answer? But I stopped drinking 3 gallons of water and get away with 1-2 because I've stopped crying?"
"My therapist recommended seeking out an IOP and this was one of the few places on the list. Everything was great at first -- my needs were validated upon meeting Dr. Yana. In addition, he assured me that I would get the help I needed with any medication refills or time needed off work after having to drop my previous psychiatrist who was unreliable for both. The person running the IOP (Ed Flynn) was friendly and seemed to care, don't get me wrong. But in all honesty, the moment he brought up being a minister and brought religion into the picture it soured the entire experience. I'm uncomfortable with the topic as a great deal of my trauma is tied into religion. I was perplexed that in a mental health related environment we'd even be bringing this up at all. He also kept going on and on about how he was one of the only professionals in the area who knew DBT therapy in and out, which seemed unprofessional. Don't brag, let your work speak for itself. When I took notes he had to single me out as if I was doing something wrong... I learn best by typing or writing out things I'm hearing or seeing myself. I have severe social anxiety and being singled out wasn't okay, especially when I'm just doing what I need to do to be able to benefit from the sessions. Needless to say I quit after two sessions. However, as I mentioned before, I needed a refill on medication before I left to tie me over until I found a new psychiatrist. When I spoke with Dr. Yana the tone was immediately different upon him learning I wasn't continuing the IOP. He shut me down immediately when I asked for help with a refill and only agreed after I assured him I wasn't asking him to take me on as a patient. He was adamant he couldn't take me on as a patient, almost in a panicked way. I didn't care about that and wasn't expecting it. I think the moment I wasn't a paying customer anymore the facade he showed initially flew out the window. Long story short, unprofessional environment and extremely unhelpful. I don't recommend Lakeside."
