"I have been with this practice a long time, and I am always happy with how responsive the office is, always getting back to me the same day. This is something you just can’t find in healthcare today. I highly recommend!"
"My husband and I started seeing Dr. Richard Anderson about 15-20yrs ago when he was still at the SSM building in St. Charles. He was highly recommend by many and for good reason! Unfortunately during Covid he stepped back and eventually retired. Although we miss him dearly, we have since been seeing Dr Ivy Allwell and she has been wonderful! Needless to say it was rough on the entire practice as they went through all these changes. I'll be first to admit we were quite unhappy with how quickly things seemed to lose some control HOWEVER....I recently worked with Jasmin in billing about some bills, balances due and then she even assisted to get a message to the Dr for us. Jasmine was extremely nice, patient and I feel did an amazing job to assist me with all my questions. THANK YOU JASMINE AND ALL OF THE TEAM AT STC PSYCHIATRIC!! I can tell things are coming back together and it's very comforting to us! THANK YOU DR ALWELL, MARY JO PRICE & YOUR STAFF FOR ALL YOU DO FOR SO MANY PATIENTS!!! KEEP UP THE HARD WORK!"
"Dr Wilson is fantastic The office however is hard to get ahold of, and now they charge a 50 dollar stimulant fee?? As if medicine wasn't already expensive enough these psychiatrists who make 100K plus have now decided to collectively, additional to billing our insurance mind you. collect 50 bucks in order to receive your refills on prescriptions. Ridiculous"
"This office is an absolute joke. I see we’re not the only ones to have the same experience. My husband started seeing Ivy Alwell a few months ago. Every single time she’s supposed to call something in, she doesn’t. Then, no one answers the phone. It would be one thing if it was an isolated incident but unfortunately, it’s not. My husband last saw her on 1/24 and was told he needed bloodwork for ADHD medication and needed to go to LabCorp. She would send the order. He took off of work to go and surprise surprise- no order. He called for an entire day straight hitting every possible prompt and not a single person answered. He finally decided to drive to the office and was told then, sorry she hasn’t sent it so we’ll send her a message. He tries to go to LabCorp again TWICE- still nothing. I even tried getting ahold of them. I told him at this point he should find a new provider and he still wanted to give her a chance for some crazy reason. Finally after 3 weeks, she sent it and he went for bloodwork and a urine sample. She also requested I join him at the next appt, which was today 2/20. We got there and waited 20 minutes past our appt time before she finally came out. Go in her office and half eaten Quik Trip food is all over her desk. We sit down and as she’s picking food out of her teeth she pulls up his lab work. It’s abundantly clear that this is the first time she’s seen it. She proceeds to tell my husband he was supposed to have urine done as well and very much sounded like she was blaming him so I looked and asked, aren’t you the one that sent the order? I’m sure they did whatever you ordered…. My husband then chimes in and says yes, I gave a urine sample as well. Her only response was , it isn’t here so you have to go do it. I completely understand needing that however, shouldn’t you be checking to make sure the order you finally sent in three weeks late consisted of what you needed to review for this appt that I had to come to also?? Shouldn’t SOMEONE, even if it isn’t you, look at this and think- hey we’re missing part of this so before we waste the patient’s time, let’s call LabCorp and see if they forgot to send or if there was some mixup? Isn’t that your JOB?? I just sat there so confused because I couldn’t really believe what I was seeing, especially at a MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY. I finally asked her- shouldn’t someone have made sure you had what you needed before this appt? The only thing she said back was, “it seems like you’re challenging me. You can find a new provider if you’d like”. I looked at my husband and said, “perhaps you should”. He agreed and we got up and walked out. What an unprofessional and unorganized excuse for an establishment. The part that is really getting to me though is that this is MENTAL HEALTH. You’re dealing with people who need help and you can’t even take them seriously enough to send in an order in a timely fashion? Making people run around town and jump through hoops because you simply don’t care is shameful. One additional thing (as if anything else is needed)- She also was supposed to send in a different milligram of something a month ago and JUST NOW DID. There is no way I would call this place a “mental health facility”. How embarrassing."
"Office is just horrible. Says to call office to make appointment. No way to leave messages for current patients to make an appointment. Have to send messages through portal. At the third follow up appointment, NP was late (no fault to NP as was going over with another patient). I disconnected from virtual appointment after 7 minutes. Instead of saying sorry and after 3 failed attempts with no communication to reschedule, it was basically implied I was a no call, no show, even though I wasn’t. Reached out via portal ( only way to schedule) with being left ignored by both office and NP. Horrible way to manage the office for patients - being treated as if we have to put everything on hold for them. Going elsewhere after 3 attempt to reclschedule, and to be just ignored."
