"Great experience at Club Champion Golf Willowbrook-IL last Saturday with Austin. My 8th grade son plays competitive golf and needed to get fitted correctly from his hand me downs. What a difference, about a club more distance on all irons. Nothing like adding more confidence as he goes into High School this fall. "Fitting for clubs is really important, and Club Champ checks the box on that piece—their fitters are generally knowledgeable and can help with club setup. Most disappointing is the fact these guys will lie straight to your face about pricing, and the Club Champ model is to charge you significantly above MSRP in bogus “club build” premiums. When I called and asked about this, I got roundabout answers and after I pushed, I was repeatedly promised to be refunded on the additional charges I unknowingly paid. Spoiler alert, that refund was never made despite multiple in-person and telephone conversations. Plenty of other fitters (ex. Golftec) that won’t run you around worse than a used car salesman. Very disappointing and won’t be back."

"I had a fitting in Orlando on January 15th while on holiday in Orlando. During the booking process and on arrival I made it *very clear* this was a fitting only as I have access to a Mizuno account via my home club back in the UK. On arrival I made the point again to the fitter that the clubs *would be built* in the UK and NOT in the US by Club Champion or anyone else. He proceeded with the fitting having full knowledge of where these irons would be built. The fitting was first class and very beneficial but I was fitted for a custom shaft with *very limited* availability and isn’t currently available to Mizuno in Europe or US. This is only available if I were to purchase via Club Champion……. I was so clear on multiple occasions that these clubs would be built by Mizuno in Europe that I didn’t think I’d have to check the shaft availability before leaving the fitting season. I found this out 24 hours later having sent the build specs to Mizuno UK as a firm order that same are not available. An ASM from Club Champion did reach out and offered another fit but due to time constraints I had to decline opting for a full refund of $175 but this email is yet to be replied to and no refund has been forthcoming. All in all a very poor experience and just so much hassle trying to get a refund which is more than fair in my opinion. Note - I have been in the Golf Industry since 2005 holding a senior management position in a premier Golf Resort in North West Ireland. I have considerable customer service experience and to be fitted in such a disingenuous manner is very disappointing."

"Got fitted last February with Roger. In 1 Year I’ve improved drastically. Couldn’t recommend Club Champion more. With my 6iron I gained: 5mph Club speed 8mph Ball speed 21yds of Carry & Total Distance Averaged 93-96 strokes per 18 Holes with mulligans, now I average 88-92 strokes per 18 without mulligans."

"I went to big box store to get “fitted” and left with a club that was far too long and not set properly. It was very discouraging on the range when my ball was sliced about ten miles over. Lol. I decided to come to club champion to see if I could have it fixed and I am very pleased. I met with Jason and he was nice and explained everything. He cut my club down properly, changed some settings and my new driver now feels comfortable. I can’t wait to go out and play. I will definitely be back for a full bag fitting. Don’t waste your money anywhere else. A proper fitting is worth it."
