"Never been in the store never patronized the store. I would have loved to have referred youths interested in hockey to this establishment. However, you would think somebody can peacefully mind their own business and not bother anybody but nope, they decided to call the police on me so sitting in my vehicle in the shade roughly 60yards from their building. So nope, won’t see a penny of my money. Plus based off the reviews I’m surprised they’re still in business. Seems they have bigger issues rather than worried about somebody in the shade!"

"Never go here for blade sharpening. My usual sharpener is no longer in the area and I decided to try them out. My blades are left with no edges (completely flat) and no spinning rocker. I cannot spin anymore and will have to completely replace my blades which were in great condition prior to their services. I’d hope a business would provide the services that they claim to have. I even had to pay extra for the specialized “figure skate sharpening” just for them to be ruined. In addition to this, the staff seemed cold and careless. The person who sharpened my skates stood there looking confused for at least 5 minutes before doing something. Pure Hockey should hire an actual sharpener or remove the figure skate sharpening “service” as it is nothing more than an overpriced awful hockey skate sharpening."

"Do not purchase anything from this location. I know very little about hockey so I always preface my questions with that exact statement to all coaches and employees. I read a bit on the CCM website about blade sharpening but had more questions. I asked the guys here and they were snored with my questions and my use of the word "speed" (even though their blade sharpening guide clearly rates edges from speed to bite). Long story short they intentionally gave us a bad sharpen going into tryouts. See picture of their idea of funny. Go see the good employees at the location on 75th instead. Edit.... Matt Benton (manager) reached out to me personally today and is working with employees to correct issues. He also took the time today to fully answer the questions I had. I will re-review on my next visit and adjust as appropriate."
