"An interesting place. Spent a modicum of time talking on the phone, determining that I possessed the experience and record they were looking for. They advertised that they needed drivers. After filling out their antiquated application, never heard from them again. The industry speaks of a driver shortage, however I am starting to believe it’s more of a shortage of companies that are willing to follow through- from the driver’s application to either a notification of denial or a notice of willingness to hire. While I understand the idea behind the de-regulation of the trucking industry, in 1980, it has contributed to ridiculously low rates and many extremely poor practices throughout- including no follow-through with applicants, when you’re “urgently” hiring."
"Not a terrible company… definitely low pay especially when this company is making 10x what they’re paying you. Long hours so if you’re going from OTR to this job don’t expect much more family time. It’s a physical job so not for the weak."
