"It felt nice I fixed my account sorta just gotta fix one more thing. But at least I can use my debt card again."
"Alex the associate at BOA in Belleville was wonderful. He took an extra step to resolve my problem. He made extra calls to get my problem resolved. Regardless of the amount of time it took for my issue; he stuck it out. I'm use to customer service representatives either passing you off to others oppose to taking an extra step to help the customer with a issue. Also, I would like to compliment his supervisor. She was also supportive in getting my issue resolved. In summary Alex is the definition of what customer service should look like."
"I'm a platinum premium member. I have had hundreds of thousands of dollars go in and out of this bank. I tried to cash some bonds today, but was met with a rude and unwavering staff over some new policy about bonds. This is absolutely ridiculous, and this specific branches shortcomings are why I didn't continue to use their services for my business. Stay local, these people don't care."
"My mother has her checking account at this bank. We usually bank in O’Fallon where she lives, but to our surprise it was closed yesterday (12/21/21). So we drove to Belleville to make a deposit and order new checks for her. She is 94 and quite frail, but has her senses about her (she worked in accounts receiving at Boatman’s bank for 20 years). There were three employees waiting to greet us when we walked in. All three were rude and condescending to her. They acted like she didn’t know what she was talking about receiving free checks with her checking account. She is hard of hearing and not one of them spoke loudly enough for her to hear them. They kept asking me questions instead of addressing the questions to her. They suggested on line banking. She only has a flip phone. Technology is beyond her at this point of her life. They needed her debit card (which she doesn’t use). She struggled with the PIN number. This was all for ordering checks. She had her checkbook and checks with her. Then we had to wait for a personal banker to order the checks. Then we had to move to a different cubicle because the tablet was not working. It was such a horrible experience. Why was this such a problem? I bank at a different bank entirely and never have this problem, especially when ordering checks. I hand the reorder slip to a teller and that’s all I do. Also, there was one teller at the windows and 6 people in line. I stood in that line so she could sit on the sofa to wait. Where has helpfulness gone? And kindness to elders?"
"These two ATMs behind the Belleville BoA are convenient, however, the access to the ATMs are quite narrow. Be careful if you have a large truck or otherwise oversized vehicle you may have to pull in your mirrors."
