"Lesson learned - should have read the reviews before taking load. Arrived at receiver for 10 am appt as told by dispatcher, was told by receiver that we didn't have an appointment. Sam (dispatcher) apologized up and down and promised us $$ to get delivered so we did, then when it came time to get a new rate confirmation we got:" Your company took a load from us and delivered that load and that entitles your company to the amount of money stated on the rate sheet. I understand there was confusion at the receiver, seems common these days but that is beyond my control. We will pay the rate per our agreement. Not sure why brokers won't stand up for their carriers these days. I hope the days come again when they need us more than we need them. This will be the first one I go after. If I could give zero stars, I would have."
