They do not have a service team and if you want anything warranted it’s through the manufacturer and you’ll have to wait for months to get it fixed. Customer service needs a lot of work. If you’re looking for an above ground pool go to aloha I called there and they had pools ready to be built in 3 weeks"

"These guys know their stuff. If you have questions, they have the answers. I have never left that place without a fix to my pool or hot tub issue. Highly recommend. They CAN come off a little rough around the edges personality-wise, but frankly if i want good conversation, I won't go to a pool store. Get in, ask your question, get the answer and leave. "I would not do business here again. All though one gentleman tried to be of help to me, the other man working there was extremely rude and refused to assist me in any way. He played on his phone and didn't even look at me when he was speaking. I left feeling very angry. I went to a different pool shop and they were willing to help me with my pool issue. Which was a simple problem. An O Ring. Trying to find one that would fit my pump lid. And surprise, we found one and it works great! Going to RX For Pools was a terrible experience!"

"I'm a big on-line shopper, but when I can justify patronizing local businesses, I like to do so. Reading the one star reviews made me smile because I completely understand how they could form their negative opinion of the place. My first experience at RX several years ago left me unsure about whether or not I wanted to go back. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and has spent decades in the business and when in the right mood, likes telling customers all about how knowledgeable he is. It CAN be abrasive, but I wonder how many people think the same thing about me when engaging me in conversation about my business, which I've been engaged in for 22 years? The fact is, RX does have pretty much anything you might need for daily maintenence of your pool or spa. They're competitively priced with the other local brick and mortar pool supply companies (often they're the lowest priced), and if they can save you money by recommending one product over another, they will do so every time. Besides selling products, they also provide pool service, and this is one of the big reasons I patronize them. Last year my pool pump literally went up in smoke and I bought a high efficiency, two speed pump from the pump manufacturer. The other local pool supply place I occasionally patronized absolutely refused to install the pump I bought, while RX had no problem getting a guy right out to do it. That was when I decided to start using RX exclusively for my pool supply needs."
