"Very disappointed in the quality of service. My family rented 2 storage units. We moved out of the area and notified the business when they were empty. They had no damage. We received a call several days later to let us know that we would not be receiving our deposits back because one unit had damage to a track. This damage was not there when we notified the company that the unit was emptied. We were told that something had to have hit it from the inside. I explained that with the 30’ trailer and then the scooter lift that were both attached on our last few trips, it was not possible for our vehicle to have been anywhere near the unit to cause the damage, and not to mention that both units closed just fine at the time that we notified of the vacancies. It was requested that we bring our vehicle back with the lift to prove that it was not what caused the damage. This is a 1.25 hour drive for us, but reluctantly I offered to make the drive to appease. The day we were available to fill this request, the manager stated he was unavailable. I offered to come up the following Saturday and call during the week to set up the time. He agreed. I called and left a message, but was never called back to set up a time. He would also not guarantee that we would receive the deposits even if I could prove it was not our vehicle. I offered to have him keep the deposit on the damaged unit - even though it was not damaged by us - and only return the deposit on the non damaged unit because it would cost this much in gas for us to just drive back since moving out of the area - but he refused to return either deposit. We never had a problem with anything until this point. I spoke at length, multiple times to multiple people and nothing was done. I would recommend installing cameras and a locking gate to ensure that customers belongings and the property owner are protected if something like this were to happen again. There was no proof to show that it was our vehicle, and the proof I was willing to provide - along with the photo sent of the above mentioned lift attached to the vehicle - was not good enough. I offered more pictures as well, but these were denied. We are honest people who just expect to be treated fairly."
