Reviews of FedEx Office Print & Ship Center
"I had a very personal health item shipped here since I wouldn’t be home. After lots of confusion and 45 minutes of them telling me it wasn’t there and me call everyone, I insisted it was there. Finally found, the employees saw what it was and laughed (not in a nice way) and said “Well now I know why she was panicking”…never apologized for the confusion of taking 45 minutes to find it…and then acting like it was a joke. I’ll never use this place again."
"The place itself is great. I definitely don't like the new automated answering system. There is just something nice about talking to another person. Today is Black Friday. I just wanted to check to see if they'd be open all day. Couldn't get through to speak to a person and ask. Very disappointing."
"Always used them for years for my copying of large quantities. Today I dropped off some work to be copied. Told them it didn't have to be today. I can come back later, just call when completed. They called back today and said it was ready to pickup. I said great, have to come back to peoria later tonight. She informed me if I pickup today, there will be a priority charge of an additional $15. But, I could pickup after today, then the charge will not be applied. This Is ridiculous. This has never happened in past years. And if they were so busy then why did they have it done today? ? Especially when I told her I did not need it copied today that I could come back later... But since I was coming to Peoria again later this evening. It would save a trip. So someone that wants to pick up an order that's ready and particularly told them it didn't need to be done today. So there rules is anything that is brought in the same day and done the same day and picked up is A priority even though you told them it did not need to be done today and I would come back later. Obviously, they are losing business, because they had no other work to do but mine. So now, it's done before she wanted it, we are going to charge her additional $15."
"I needed to get a quick copy of a family tree that was extremely delicate due to the age of some of the paperwork. With approximately 350 sheets of paper I assumed the job would be tedious and long. However, FedEx was able to complete my product within 24 hours. This was done at a reasonable price as well. My only complaint would be the cost of digitally scanning documents. I recommend FedEx for any of your copying needs."
"I guess I should have read the reviews before going in! I wasted both my time and money and got nothing done after being there for over 45 minutes. To be clear, I used to go to this location at least once a week but haven't been there for a little over a year, I never had problems until this visit when I noticed they had also changed a lot around. All I needed to do was scan 3 pieces of paper and send them to my email which never used to be this difficult. I had to wait in line to get a card because their dispenser was empty, that took about 10 minutes. I put $2 on it which gave me about 5 minutes, all the time I'd need under normal circumstances but not in this case. The computer wouldn't turn on so I had to get back in line and wait about 15 minutes for someone to help me with getting the computer to work. So I sit down, put in my card and start my session. "Finally!", right? Wrong. I set everything up, get logged into my email, choose the setting the employee told me to use and magically I'm not able to scan my papers. So I go back up to the desk AGAIN where an employee comes to me immediately since I'm visually upset, I explain the issue and they go to the computer to see what's going on, can't figure it out, and leaves. My precious 5 minutes is up at this point so they go to refund the money back to the card and when they come back, they inform me that I was actually using the wrong setting, that I was supposed to use the more expensive setting which means I can't get it done in the same amount of time as before. Something that should have taken 10 minutes tops to complete, including going in, getting the card, putting money on it, then going to the computer to scan and send out my documents took 45 minutes and I didn't even get anything done. So I wasted both time and money trying to get this done and ended up having to drive to the company I meant to email the documents to to drop them off which took an additional 45 minutes and a quarter tank of gas. So what did we learn? 1. FedEx needs to train their employees better about the services they offer. 2. They need more employees working because that place was packed and they only had 3 people but about 4 extra desks that were not being used. 3. They need better directions for self help because the direction they did have were out of date and completely unhelpful. I will not be going back and I would not recommend this place to anybody. It's slow, inconvenient, and a giant waste of time and money."
