"I absolutely do not recommend this doctor. I brought my daughter for a visit as a new patient looking for a referral for occupational therapy. Miriam had no idea why we were there and asked multiple times before she understood (even though it was already in the notes). My daughter had a life-threatening reaction to vaccines as a baby and we were advised by HER DOCTOR not to administer any more. Miriam refused to see her as a patient because she is not vaccinated and we will not give any more, even though another doctor has given us medical advice to not give her any more. I guess she just does not respect other doctors’ medical opinions. Miriam stated that she has “never heard” of ANY reactions to vaccines… how silly is that? A physician who administers and recommends vaccinations but does not care enough to read a vaccine insert or to research vaccines. Hint: ALL medication can have adverse side effects.. although as a “physician” she should know that. While I understand it may be a policy for Northwestern medicine.. it is totally unethical to recommend a product that is not safe for her to receive, and any doctor who does not take their oath of “do no harm” seriously, is NOT a good doctor."
